Brows!

If you seen my makeup tutorials, you would notice that my eyebrows are always looking busted 😂. I’ve been trying to grow my eyebrows to get it thicker, then shape it.

I abstained from plucking and as part of my night time routine, I’d put vaseline on my brows and brush it out. I do the same with my eyelashes. You need to be consistent with this routine to see a difference. I try to do this as often as I can and after a while I actually noticed a difference.

My eyelashes were longer and my eyebrows definitely appeared thicker.

It’s all about the SHAPE! Whether it’s tweezing, threading or waxing, you need to have a shape in order to start somewhere.

The eyebrow pencil I use is Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil in the colour dark brow.

Tutorial

1. Draw a clean line just underneath your eyebrow, with your brow pencil or gel.

2. Repeat on top of your brow, connecting the 2 lines at the tail end.

3. Then lightly fill in your eyebrow and brush through it to get rid of excess product.

4. For that extra sharpness, clean up around your brow with concealer and blend it out.

TIP: if you don’t have brow gel, simply use mascara. It basically does the same thing and makes your eyebrows look thicker/darker.

Updated skin care!

Helluur!

Yes SKIN! Either our greatest friend or our worst enemey.

In my previous skin care routine I spoke about Neutrogena and how I felt about it,all things positive (I will link that post below). Although it felt good on my skin, it wasn’t helping with anything!

I went to a dermatologist, only because I was breaking out so badly and didn’t know what to do anymore. She gave me a presciption and recommended I use Eucerin.

Guys! Eucerin is bomb. Ofcourse the tablets and ointment I was using saved my skin, but Eucerin helped to maintain it.

I still use Bio-Oil and it helps reduce my scars and dark spots. I usually add 1 or 2 drops of it into my moisturizer or I apply it before I go to sleep.

Eucerin Adjunctive Hydrating Care
This is specially formulated for dehydrated skin due to the treatment of acne. It’s oil and fragrance free. It contains SPF30 UVB + UVA, protecting your skin from harmful UV-radiation. This is so moitsturizing without making your skin oily or sticky. It can even be used as a primer. I mix this with a bit of sunblock for that extra protection 😌.

Eucerin Cleanser

It’s soap and fragrance free. Cleanses gently and effectively eliminates excess sebum. Sebum is a fatty, oily substance secreted to form a thin film protecting your skin from dryness. However, excess sebum causes blackheads and acne. It is non-comedogenic with 6% Ampho-Tenside. Ampho-Tenside helps eliminate excess sebum and non-comedogenic simply means, that this cleanser doesn’t contain products that will clog your pores. There’s not much to say about it other than it really cleanses your skin and helps to remove makeup.

Bio-Oil

This helps to reduce the appearence of scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin. Bio-Oil definitely does what it says, but ofcourse it doesn’t work overnight. In order to see improvements you need to be consistent and it says to apply twice daily for a minimum of 3 months. I only apply this at night, directly to my face after using the cleanser. I love how hydrating it feels and 1 drop is enough to keep you feeling juicy.

Overrall I love these 3 products. It really works for my type of skin- dry and acne prone. I definitely recommend Eucerin. It is quite pricey, but long lasting โ˜บ👍. My previous skin care routine-https://mblairett.wordpress.com/2016/07/08/skin-care/

Burgundy?

Hey Beauties…I don’t know what to call this look. It’s a blend of burgundy I guess 😂👌.

Mind the eyebrows 😶😧.

This post will be short n sweet 👄.

Tutorial:

1. Apply concealer to your eyelids and set it with translucent powder.

2. In your crease, thoroughly blend out brown eyeshadow. Apply this shade strictly to your crease.

3. Take maroon eyeshadow and apply this to your eyelids. Blend it out on your eyelid as well as to your crease.

4. I then took a sort of pink shimmer highlight shade and placed it on the centre of my eyelid. I used this same colour to highlight my inner-corner and brow-bone. It isn’t quite visible, but in person you can see it 😌.

6. Use that same maroon shade and blend it underneath your eye. End the look off with a sharp wingliner and voula 🔥.

I know I don’t post a lot, I basically abandoned my blog but I do plan on making a return 😓.
